Every year, on October 18th, the »European day against human trafficking« IJM raises awareness to slave labor nowadays and calls for the fight for freedom.

Godson from Ghana, Anna from Romania and Cassie from the Philippines were freed from slavery by IJM®. Their stories are shown on the 80 euro banknote.

Today, 40 million people worldwide live in slavery. IJM®'s commitment promotes local legal systems, facilitates rescue missions and cares for those released.
